Moringa Pesto

Ingredients

  1. 1 tbsp Farafena Moringa Leaf Powder

  2. 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves

  3. 1 cup fresh cilantro (or 2 cups basil)

  4. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  5. ½ cup cashews

  6. ¼ cup olive oil + additional, if necessary

  7. Salt and black pepper, to taste

  8. ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until everything is smooth.

  2. Add additional oil, 1 tablespoon at a time to reach desired consistency and to help with blending.

  3. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

  4. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 5 days.

  5. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in fridge before use
