Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup crushed or sliced almonds
  • ½ cup flax
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 2/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp Farafena Baobab Fruit Powder
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ½ – 1 cup honey or maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • 9 medjool dates – cut into small pieces
  • ½ cup golden berries
  • ½ cup raisins
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300º F. Prepare three large baking sheets by lining with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl mix together oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, almonds, flax seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds and Baobab Powder.
  • In a small saucepan or in the microwave, melt coconut oil and honey. Stir until combined. (To make it mix well, after heated, add to a blender and blend for a couple seconds)
  • Pour honey mixture over oat mixture and mix until everything is coated.
  • Spread granola thinly on baking sheets.
  • Bake one tray at a time for 20 minutes or until everything is toasted.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes.
  • Add everything back into a large bowl and add dates, golden berries and raisins. The granola should still be a little warm which will melt some of the natural sugars of the dried fruit.
  • Enjoy on top of yogurt, ice cream, in an açaí bowl or simply with milk.
