Baobab Fruit Powder




  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Farafena Moringa Leaf Powder
  • ¾ cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2-4 tbsp milk (or alternative)
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350º F. Prepare two baking sheets by lining with parchment paper.
  • In a medium sized bowl, sift together flour and Moringa.
  • In a mixing bowl beat coconut oil and icing sugar until well combined.
  • To coconut oil mixture, add salt and egg yolks. Mix until everything is well mixed.
  • Add flour mixture to wet ingredients and mix well.
  • While mixing on low, add milk a tablespoon at a time until mixture becomes a dough and comes together into one ball.
  • Using floured hands, roll into ¾” balls.
  • Place onto baking sheets.
  • Press down firmly onto each ball with the bottom of a floured glass.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • Let cool completely before icing.
